    Noel was admitted as a partner of Melville Orton & Lewis in 1985 having completed his secondary education at Monivae College and his Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws at Monash University. He was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1983. He signed the High Court of Australia Roll in the same year.

    Noel has extensive experience in most areas of law relevant to clients who reside in the Western District.

    Noel is a Regional Lawyer of the Year finalist. He has been a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia since 1988. He is the holder of a LAW2000 Certificate in Mediation.  He has been recognised by the Law Institute of Victoria for assistance he has provided to the benefit of Victorians unable to afford their own legal representation or who are ineligible for legal aid. He has acted extensively as an Independent Children’s Lawyer in Family Law proceedings – advocating for the best interests of children.

    Noel has represented clients in the Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates Court, Federal Circuit & Family Court and Koori Court as well as in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

    Noel interests include spending time with his adult family and travel.  His family has resided in Hamilton for more than 100 years.
