Michael has extensive skills and experience across three professions in Law Enforcement, Education, and Corrections spanning over 30 years. He has also owned and operated a small business, so knows and understands the struggles faced by small business owners.
Michael completed his Bachelor of Laws at Central Queensland University in 2020 followed by his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practise with the College of Law. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Policing and Graduate Diploma in Education.
Michael was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2021 before moving to Hamilton.
Michael has experience in appearing in courts including Magistrates Court, District and Supreme Courts.
Michael is practicing predominantly in Wills and Estates, Commercial and Consumer disputes, and Criminal law. He also has a particular interest in Employment and Workplace law.
In his spare time Michael enjoys working on his small farm at Glencoe near Mount Gambier and travelling to Queensland to visit his extended family.
